Achilles Tendon

So, who knew you could rupture your Achilles tendon? Who also knew it's the biggest tendon in your entire body? Obviously, I did not. I was playing some B- ball on December 18th. I had the ball, and pivoted. The girl guarding me kicked the snot out of my leg. Just kidding. i thought she had though, and stated it as I was falling to the ground. Pop goes the tendon. Recovery stinks. I am not a good invalid. I started Physical Therapy 2 weeks ago. I think I am making progress. I am now putting about 60% weight on it, with crutches.

Don't you hate it when you get your Christmas lights out from their hibernation, and a strand is not working. Or one bulb, or maybe all of them?
Yeah, me too! But what I really don't like is going to the big commercial Home store, buying the new lights in the fancy box..full price and everything. Take the time to put them up on the house balancing on a rickity stepstool. ( K, Nathan did the putting up part, I held up the boy so he didn't biff it......) and plug in the beautiful lights. And. 1/3 of the " New " lights don't work. Great. Nice.
